GOP Hopes to Expand Its Majority
(Washington post) Republicans were assured of keeping their majority in the House Tuesday and were hoping to expand it, as they ousted four Texas Democrats and protected hard-pressed incumbents in Kentucky, North Carolina, Connecticut and elsewhere.
