Permissions and probabilities
(ThinkTonk) Kroedel (forthcoming) argues that if we assume that we are permitted to believe p iff we are justified in believing p, we can solve a version of Kyburg's (1961) lottery paradox. Here is the set up. You know that there is a large and fair lottery.
