Dow Plunges Below 9000
(Washington post) Shrugging off President Bush's attempt to restore confidence, investors dumped stocks again Wednesday, driving the Dow Jones industrial average down 3.1 percent and pushing the Nasdaq and S&P 500 indexes to five-year lows.
