My idea of the Hood as it might have been built: GB/CB/1915
(DreadnoughtCruisers) The basis for the original Hood concept in 1915 has always interested me. Here is another attempt at such a ship: the GB/CB/1915 design with 8-15in/42 BLR, 16-5.5in QF, an armour basis of 8in and a speed of 32 knots. This is the Springsharp report:
