VARCHAR as primary key - bad? (1 reply)
(MySQL.com) I got to migrate an old desktop database to MySQL.
Most of the old tables do not have 'real' primary key.
eg Employee table
EmpNo EmpName
AP001 Andy Penn
The EmpNo was used as primary key.
Now I need to migrate and add primary key fiel
