how to start the server installed by rpm? (no replies)
(MySQL.com) I have just installed the mysql 5.2 by rpm on an RHEL 4 system. However I cannot find ways to start it: my /etc/init.d/mysql is pointing to "safe_mysqld" at an old location in "/usr/local/mysql/", and my new installation does not have a "safe_mysql
