Millipore to buy Serologicals for $1.4 billion
(Washington post) NEW YORK (Reuters) - Millipore Corp. said on Tuesday it agreed to buy Serologicals Corp. for $1.4 billion in cash to boost its role as a provider of chemicals used in drug research, sending shares of both companies higher.
