EU Approves E.On $36B Bid for Endesa
(Washington post) BRUSSELS, Belgium -- The European Union's head office on Tuesday approved German energy company E.On AG's 29.1 billion euros ($36 billion) bid to buy Spanish power company Endesa SA.
